Disneyland Double Exposures on Film

Experimenting with Film Double Exposures at Disneyland

This summer we went to the California Coast and I took along my digital and my film camera.  After the second day I was so tired of lugging my digital and not even using it, that I left it in the hotel safe after that!  I have fallen head over heels in love with Film!

During our trip I signed up on a whim for Stephanie Bryan’s Film Love Workshop and I was reading it in line at Disneyland on my phone!!  I was so intrigued with Double Exposures that I started just trying it every chance I could.  I ended up by some magic to have captured these!  I can’t even tell you how excited I am!!  I will tell you that these are just a few that I got that I liked and worked.  I think that the double exposure has to make sense.  Random objects don’t make sense.  And I love the look of the lights double exposed!

If you want to learn more about double exposures, check out her class!  All Film cameras are different in how you have to create the images.  The secret is to under expose both frames by 1 stop to get the right exposure for the frame you are wanting to create.
